WHY HE’S A STYLEMAKER: The interior designer, owner of Space Planning and Design in the Crossroads Arts District, used floating mirrors in the master bath of his downtown condo.
THE DISPLAY: Brushed metal glass clips anchor two-sided mirrors above an island vanity. Before, a wall divided the bathroom and a dressing room on the other side. Now, with the wall gone, the floating mirrors allow more natural light and provide a view of the urban landscape.
THE EFFECT: Even though floating mirrors are chic and modern, they’re practical.
“They allow you to hang a mirror when there is no wall,” Sundermeier says.
